JEE (Advanced) is the second stage of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admissions to all 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture, or Pharmaceutics.
The entire JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be conducted on 20 May 2018 in fully computer based test mode.
JEE (Main) is the first stage of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and only top 2, 24,000 candidates (including all categories) based on their score in JEE (Main) - paper 1 will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced).

JEE ADVANCED ELGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates must qualify in the JEE main and be one of the top 2, 24000 candidates to appear for the JEE Advanced
Age Limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1988.
Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Therefore, candidates who appeared in JEE (Advanced) 2017 for the first time are also eligible.
Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2017 or 2018
